Eligibility for admission

A pass in H.S.C. (Academic)! Intermediate or its equivalent with Maths, Physics and Chemistry A pass in H.S.C. (Vocational Stream) with Engineering! Technology Vocational Subjects and any one of the related subjects like! Maths or Physics or Chemistry.

A pass in Diploma in Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamilnadu (for admission to direct II year course) A pass in Intermediate or Pre-Engineering or its equivalent with Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Minimum Marks

Candidates belonging to communities other than SCIST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances.

Candidates belonging to communities other than SCIST should have obtained the following minimum marks.

For H.S.C. Academic, vocational students the aggregate marks of Math's, Physics & Chemistry put to gather should be

OC-55% BC-50% MBC-45%

For Diploma Holder the percentage of marks should be (V & VI semester)

OC-55% BC-50% MBC-45%

Candidates belonging to SC!ST mere pass is enough in the qualifying examination in not more that 3 appearances and only first improvement will be considered.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST Other than Tamilnadu will be considered as OC only.
 

FOREIGN STUDENT : The student who have passed qualifying examination equivalent 10+2 examination of Tamilnadu in foreign countries should produce eligibility certificate from concerned universities.

Non Resident Indian Student : Just Pass in qualifying exam. But they have to produce the following documents;

Sponsor Certificate in approved format from the sponsor who is a NRI

Employer Certificate for the NRI

Copy of Passport and Visa of the NRI

Apart from regular fees a development charge of US $ 1000

Certificates to be produced at the time of admission

The following certificates in original are to be produced at the time of Interview Admission.

10th Marks List & Pass Certificate

12th or Intermediate or Pre-Degree or Diploma Marks List or equivalent

Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate from the Institution Last attended.

Certificate of Social status issued by the Competent authority.

Nativity Certificate.

Four Passport - Size photographs and two Stamp Size photograph.

Entrance Marks and Hall Ticket

Medical Certificate
