Sri Balaji Educational Trust has started Padmavathi College of
Physiotherapy under the G. O Ms. No. 738 Health and Family welfare
department dated 31.05.1993 permitting an yearly intake of 50
students. This college is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical
University under the official proceedings Re No. 2291 5/Affin (3)/93
dated 21.12.1993. This college was subsequently recognized by the
Indian Association of physiotherapists.

Eligibility
Candidates belonging to all categories should have passed the
qualifying examination .(Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years
of study with the following subjects: Physics. Chemistry,
Biology/Botany and Zoology.

The examinations are conducted by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical
University.
Master of Physiotherapy
The Master of Physiotherapy course is affiliated to The Tamil
Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. The duration of the course is two
years

1.Candidates should
have passed the B.P.T Degree Course of The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR
Medical University
or any other
University recognized as equivalent by The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical
University
2.Candidates from
other than The Tamil Nadu Dr.MGR Medical University shall obtain an
eligibility certificate by remitting the prescribed fees before
seeking admission

Dissertation
Every Candidate
presenting himself for the examination for the first
time shall submit three typewritten copies of a dissertation not
exceeding 2500 words consisting of the result of his own study of
important investigations carried out by him under the guidance of a
recognized teacher together with a review of recent advances
pertinent to that theme. The acceptance of the dissertation by the
examiners shall be a condition precedent to the admission of the
candidate for the written and practical examination.
