Kaveri Patnam is an important town in Dharmapuri District with numerous villages on the periphery of the town.  This part of this district is educationally and economically backward one.  Realizing the importance of education and that too technical education for the improvement of this area, a group of philanthropists me together and established a Trust by name "Sri Lord Venkateswara Educational Trust" and decided to start a polytechnic with the main objective of promoting Technical Education with the motto of prosperity through Technology".  Their initiative and foresight bone fruits and Government was pleased to accord permission to start a "Self financing polytechnic by name PEE GEE Polytechnic" at Dharmapuri.  The starting of the Institution is approved by AICTE New Delhi and Government of Tamilnadu.

The lecture halls, Laboratories and workshops are spacious, well - lit and ventilated and well furnished, Every room is made attractive and charming with all the teaching aids, switch boards etc... The students are given full freedom to display their talents and to give expression to their originality. The teachers are well experienced wizards of wisdom into shape the career of the students, open to them the treasure gate of knowledge, breathe into every one's being a new vibrant spirit, inspire them with a desire to learn and attempt to teach themselves, elicit their talent faculties and enlarge their vision, and accommodate their percepts to the capability of their students, induce the students to think, to distinguish wish, to find themselves sometimes opening the way and at other times make them open it for themselves.

Eligibility:

Candidates who have passed 10th or +2 Higher Secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or
      equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology and Botany with a pass in each of
      the above science subjects

Candidates are advised to furnish the actual marks obtained by them in the qualifying
      examination otherwise only the minimum marks of the grades will be taken as a basis for
      determining the marks.
