The College is on Chennai to Bangalore Main Road, No. 102, Irungattu
Kothai, Opp. Hyundai Car Company, Sriperumpudur (Taluk) Kancheepuram
(Dist), 9 km away from Chennai City and 2 km away from our SRI PADMAVATHI
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING.
Faculty
V.K.K. Vijayan Engineering College is committed to provide quality
education. A team qualified and experienced faculty contribute the very
best for the students in accordance with the present Scenario.
Academic
With a view to get maximum exposure in other academic activity the
management is opinion of eminent personalities and experts from the field
of academics.
More over the specific problem of student are identified through monthly
tests and remedial action is taken by the concerned faculty. Since the
institution is located in the area surrounded by Industries of various
field like Automobile, Software etc. it is easy for our student to have a
direct interaction with them in their respective branch of study.
Eminent personalities from Industry and field of Education are invited to
deliver lectures on current and important topics on regular basis. This
gives the students a realistic perspective of the concepts they learn in
class.
Technical Associate
All the courses offered have their respective technical associations
from industries and from universities for academic and placement
excellence.
Library
The spacious library which as a recent collection of more than 10,000
books apart from subscriptions to leading National and International
Periodicals and Journals.
Computer Lab
The state of art Computer lab equipped with the latest Peripheral and
Soft which enable our student to work on par with latest in technology.
The Computer lab can accommodate 60 students. networked systems are
configured to allow Individual to Internet access from all the Computers.
Hostel Facilities
The Institution provide excellent hostel facilities both for girls and
boys.
Full time high level security is provided to the ladies hostel. In
addition exclusive hostel for NRI And other state students are also
available.
Facilities for games like volleyball, Cricket, Caroms, and
Chess are provided. Round the clock STD phone facility is provided in the
hostel.
There is a recreation room equipped with Television & Indoor
games, Periodical medical checkup is done for the students.

B.E., B. Tech., Courses
For H.Sc. Academic, Vocational student the aggregate marks of Maths,
Physics & Chemistry. Aggregate marks should be
OC-Min 55%
BC-Min 50%
MBC-Min 45%
Candidates belonging to Communities other than SC/ST should have passed
the Qualifying examination in not more than 3 appearances and only first
improvement marks will be considered.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST Other than Tamilnadu will be considered as
OC only.
Foreign Students
The Student who
have passed qualifying examination equivalent to +2 examination of
Tamilnadu in Foreign Countries should produce eligibility certificate from
Anna University and NRI Certificate and satisfy other conditions as may be
prescribed by the Govt. of Tamilnadu from time to time.
